In the first place, at 2 P.M., the Senior Three students, dressed in neat school uniforms, gathered at the U-shaped square. In the meantime, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai delivered a keynote speech to mobilize the event in which he addressed all the students, saying, 'The journey of perseverance is like the preparation for exams. Only by never stopping can you finally reach the stars. May you release your stress in the beautiful scenery of Qintan Lake and gather strength while walking side by side. Transform the tenacity of the journey into composure in the exam hall.'

In the second place, teacher Yang Liangfeng from the sports group led the students to re-form the line. The head teachers and the accompanying teachers of each class counted the number of students, emphasizing safety precautions. Also, bright red class flags fluttering in the wind, the students' eyes were determined, ready to go. Later on, at 2.30 0.M., with a command, the large group set off from the school and headed towards Qintan Lake Park.

In the third place, in order to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of this hiking event, the Senior High School department of our school, in collaboration with our school's Youth League Committee, made detailed plans and meticulous arrangements in advance by formulating a comprehensive activity implementation plan and proactively applying to the Anqing Traffic Police for security support. Thus, upon receiving the request, the Anqing Traffic Police made early deployments of police forces, setting up duty points on Zhenfeng Avenue and the surrounding roads of the park to direct traffic and guide vehicle flow, thus opening up a safe and unobstructed green channel for the teachers and students.

In the fourth place, under the sun, the upright figures of the traffic police and the youthful steps of the students complemented each other, forming the warmest sight in spring. Moreover, this protection from society added more confidence and composure to students' journey of perseverance.

In the fifth place, the long and arduous hiking journey was a path of continuous growth, which was not only a test of physical endurance but also a refinement of perseverance. In addition, throughout the journey, the class teachers and the accompanying teachers were always by the students' side, constantly observing their conditions and offering timely encouragement and care. Evidently, teachers and students walked together with one heart, with a strong sense of warmth surrounding the entire hiking route.

More remarkably, the gentle breeze caressed the lake surface, creating ripples that spread out in all directions. Besides, the flowers and plants along the shore were fragrant and full of vitality. The students were grouped in threes or fives, either discussing their ideals or taking photos for memory. Therefore, the usually tense nerves gradually relaxed and expanded in the presence of the beautiful lake and mountains. The entire journey of about 10 kilometers did not see anyone giving up easily. Instead, students supported each other and encouraged one another, using their footsteps to demonstrate the tenacity of 'Those who have walked a hundred miles have already covered half of it'.

Last but not the least, although the journey had an end, the struggle never ceased. With the lingering rays of the setting sun spreading across the sky, everyone stood side by side, holding hands and embracing the gentle breeze to capture the beautiful moments. More noticeably, the joyous laughter and the unwavering companionship throughout the journey were transformed into precious memories that would never fade in the years to come.

In a nutshell, at 5.10 P.M., all the teachers and students safely returned to the campus. This 3-hour-long hiking activity came to a successful conclusion. Step by step, they traversed the journey of spring; scene by scene, they gained the warmth of youth; battle after battle, they headed towards the other side of their ideals. May the 2026 graduating classes of Senior Three students of Anqing Foreign Language School, with the perseverance and courage gained during the hiking journey, ride the wind and break through waves in the upcoming College Entrance Examination and achieve even greater success!
